"I loved my stay, the river outside my balcony was very serene. The property is in a great location, the staff was warm and friendly and helpful. I arrived a bit early and they got me into my room early! Nice lobby , with a bar and restaurant and a big nice pool. The room was very clean and lots of extras to make me feel at home there. I’m very happy I stayed there and look forward to staying there again!"

"Fantastic stay. Wonderful service. Fantastic breakfast. Great support for pets and very reasonable flat fee. Only area for improvement would be the shampoo. It was nearly impossible to get any out of the dispenser and it was shampoo and conditioner in one, which didn’t seem to wash or condition. "

"The Village Inn was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It may sound trivial but even all the sidewalks were edged and trimmed. Although it is an older facility, I was very impressed and will definitely stay there again upon my return back to the area. "

"This property was / is disgraceful and look nothing like the pictures. We booked for 3 nights and left after 12 hours. Tried to get the last 2 nights canceled and they said they couldn’t. My wife and son’s asthma kicked in as the place smelled of big spray and toxic cleaner. The furniture was broken and faucet in the bathroom did not work. We could not have been more disappointed."

"The the hotel staff was absolutely amazing! We had a problem with our booking and they were able to resolve the issue very accordingly and in a timely manner. When you stay here you feel like you were walking through an episode of the history channel because of all of the beautiful authenticity kept in this place! I will recommend and continue to stay at Benson for every return to Portland!!!"
