"The property is brand new and the rooms are spotless. I really enjoyed the shower and we had plenty of space. The only downside was that they only clean every three days or upon request. We were not told that though upon checking in although I was told that was going to change."

"This enormous old house in a delightful Portland neighborhood was a delight. (EXPEDIA was NOT a delight, however, because it failed to send me the key code I needed to get into the building. The on-site staff person told me my experience was typical.) Lots of fun restaurants (and Trader Joe) nearby, easy public transportation to downtown for people who don't walk."

"Everything was great. Staff was awesome room was clean. The only issue I had was the AC in my room was did not work properly or was too old but no complaints other than that."

"My experience was so mixed. The hotel was finished nicely and in an area that was convenient for me. The bed was comfortable and the room was what I needed it to be. It was nice, but there was no place to put any clothes except 5 hangers in the closet and the night stand drawer. My issue was the unevenness of the staff and pretty dysfunctional operations apparently behind the scenes. My fire alarm battery died in the middle of the night and the guy at the front desk said I'd have to wait until...

"Our check in process was great, staff was amazing and friendly, and we loved walking into the complimentary happy hour. Fun pinball amenity. Great location downtown. Clean and nice room, however the bathroom was microscopic. It was hard to use the sink, we know it's urban setting but the bathroom was the size of a small closet. The morning staff seemed irritable and made the process of filling up our water bottles complicated and she seems annoyed by us. It was fine for a quick night...

"The bar closes at 10. The restaurant won't seat you without a "reservation" even though it's half empty. They probably have a staff shortage but won't admit it. Lobby tables left un-bussed. We had to do it ourselves. Room service, vacuums, etc are left in the hall for multiple days, let alone hours. And those nice, clear shower doors? Accumulated soap scum from previous guests. The beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet, which was the most important. Overall, a disappointing experience."

"We regularly stay at the Woodlark for the location. It’s expensive so we keep a lookout for when their rates are lower than their typical price. The beds are super comfortable. The soap and lotions are divine. It’s downtown in a safe area. It’s easy to access other parts of Portland by car from here. We self park at a relatively near parking garage on 10th which is much cheaper than the valet service."
