"From the moment we walked in and was greeted by Sherwood, I knew this was going to be the best stay! We hung out on the deck and drank wine with other guests and got to know everyone. "Easy to find as its right off the highway. Parking was a little difficult as the motel was booked. We had to park at the opposite end of the reception area. It would be nice to know that you need your vehicles license plate number before checking in. Maybe put something on the website(s) (expedia, travelosity, etc). Room was small but clean. Bed was pretty comfortable. It was a little noisy outside but we drowned out the noise with the AC unit. The pool looked good, we just didn't bring...

"Microwave had dried food inside. Desk chair covering was worn away on top and part of seat area. Free breakfast options were minimal; and no half & half. Manager was helpful, but property is substandard."

"The continental breakfast was very limited. They used to have yogurt and peanut butter which they did not have anymore. They did not have half and half for coffee. By the end of our stay there was only grape jelly left for the bread. If you're diabetic you probably would not find anything to eat in the morning. The room was reasonably clean. Though there was stains in the carpet in the hallways and dinged paint and just noticeable where. Staff was very friendly."

"It was easy enough to check in and the lobby looked nice and clean. We were greeted in our room by a large spider on the wall but I get that could happen almost anywhere. Room was clean enough, beds pretty comfy, sparse on the towels, plenty of parking, This is a decent place to stay if you just need somewhere to sleep."

"I understand this was never advertised as a resort, but I did expect the absolute basics to function. Unfortunately, that appears to have been asking too much. The TV didn’t work, the shower wouldn’t drain, and the electrical outlets were so worn out that plugs literally fell out unless they were held in place with electrical tape. The first red flag should have been opening the room and seeing a mattress propped up against the window like it was part of the furniture package. Nothing says...

"The hot tub closes at 9:30, the breakfast is so, so. The rooms were clean, the staff were okay. The pool was warmer than some. Overall a 3 or 4."
