The property is very old and dingy. I found the rugs to be dirty and the bathroom was moldy around the tub and shower. The TV only worked partially continuing to go in and out. I requested to change rooms and they did accommodate me to a better room. More than likely it is my last time at the hotel, even though it is very close to where I want to be.

I gave it a 3 out of 5 because the facility generally did a decent job. Rooms were clean, desk agent was pleasant and helpful. While I expected a pet fee, I thought it was high and concluded that after our experience, they didn't do much to earn it. Plus, it was not easy to determine whether the hotel was pet friendly on the Expedia site and there was no mention of a pet fee that I could find and I actively looked. (I found a pet policy on the hotel website but did not know what the fee was until we checked in at the desk.)Our first room had fleas and I found a bedbug on my tablet. The desk agent gave us a new room right away, and that one appeared to be free of pests, but we were pretty paranoid all the same. I would think that for a $75 fee they would fog the rooms once in a while. Plus, the hotel is a bit weary. There were two large stains on the carpet in our new room.
