It was really convenient that there was a free shuttle to Whistler Village whenever we needed it and the shuttle driver Jamie was a wealth of knowledge and so friendly. "We have stayed here several times since it opened and have never been disappointed. The property is very well maintained and the rooms are very clean and well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, kitchen utensils and eating utensils for cooking/eating. The property has just gone through a complete renovation so the rooms and common areas look brand new. "We’ve stayed at Evolution a few times for ski trips and access to Alpha, Nita, and Alta Lakes. There are also many paved bike trails nearby, and bike rentals are easy to find if you don’t have one. It’s very family- and dog-friendly, with a pool, sauna, and hot tub, plus apartment-style suites with full kitchens. There’s also a kids’ games room downstairs, which is a nice bonus. "Nice property and staff but the temperature control system was bad. We couldn’t sleep Room was constantly at 27 degrees. Tech checked it out warned us it’s finicky but temperature never came down. Next day when we complained they said because of environmental rules it always shut down when there is no activity, also gave us parking fee waver. For a hotel this calibre they should look in to this issue. I felt like why we paid to be have a sleepless night."

"The reception staff were very helpful. The location is in the heart of Whistler's main business district, and the hotel parking is convenient. However, the price is higher than average. "I had to check out a day early and I asked if I would have to pay. The person at the front desk said that wasn't a problem and no I wouldn't be charged for the extra day. When I realized I prepaid for the room, I phoned the hotel and they said they would not give me a refund me and would only give me a credit for some future stay. It's unlikely I will be going back to Whistler anytime in the next year or so. I am extremely disappointed with the hotel staff saying I would not be charged and then...

"As we expected our stay in Whistler was fantastic. Highlights of the hotel was the heated pool and hot tubs. A huge bonus was the free shuttle that came every 30 mins all day. Staff were friendly and helpful providing trail maps and information on getting around Whistler and the local trails."
