"Decent sized room (stayed in deluxe double) for 2 nights. Admittedly didn’t feel particularly deluxe as the furniture was old and it felt a little tired. Clean enough but could do with a refurb. Car charging onsite was handy and good location without being stuck in city centre."

"Grays Court is a beautiful and truly unique place to stay in York. The staff were warm and friendly, the accommodations were full of historic character, and the gorgeous garden made the property feel especially peaceful. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and incredibly generous. I enjoyed toast, tea, orange juice, and a full British breakfast. The location is perfect for exploring historic York on foot. "Comfortable room with good amenities but the food at the hotel in the evenings is dreadful and overpriced."

"Was disappointed to find that there was no available gym in the hotel, even though it is advertised as such. The sofa bed in the room was broken, as was the air-conditioning. Staff attempted to fix it but didn’t make a difference. When we visited, there was a pile of mattresses sitting in the lobby. Surely there’s a better way to manage this. We shared our complaints with staff at the hotel but they showed little interest so I hope management will take note "

"Highly recommend! Hotel was within walking distance to the city center and the train station. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Room was clean and quiet."
