"We had a lovely 3 night stay at the “Q” Perfect venue near the beach and a very short walk into Shanklin town. Rooms were nice and the pool and

terrace was really nice. The couple who run the “Q” are very attentive and helpful. One small downside is the parking is not as straightforward as you would like, but it did not detract from having a great stay. "

The hotel is located around 10 mins walk out of town, but the beach is a short, downhill walk. Be sure to check out the cocktails at the Ocean Drive bar, but watch out for the £3.50...

"We have stayed many times at the Durley Dean Hotel as we know exactly where we are in relation to the beach, buses and restaurants. All of which are in close walking distance. The steam room is excellent and there is also a sauna and small indoor pool.

"Our two night break at the seafront Art Deco Cumberland Hotel Bournemouth was just brilliant. Room was clean & comfortable, great new AC unit in there too. Hotel itself is well maintained (currently broken lift aside) & staff were mostly very welcoming & professional. Location overlooks the seafront about 15mins walk from the town centre but tbh we could have happily stayed in the hotel all day/night as it really was that enjoyable, particularly the period Art Deco style bar area which partnered...
