"This property is very enjoyable if you like unique historical cabins. The cabins are very old and remind you of times gone by. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This side of the island is dry so it's the area to go to if you don't like rain. The wrap around deck,kitchen and the A/C are all nice amenities. The grounds are well kept up as well. We will stay there again if we get to go back to Kauai. Enjoy the Mangos that have fallen from the trees on the property."

"I enjoyed my stay overall, but I was very disappointed with the hotel room service. I stayed for four days, and the housekeeping staff never cleaned our room. I had to ask for clean towels, toilet paper, and for the trash to be emptied. The staff member’s response was to ask me to bring my used towels to the dirty towel bin she had outside in the hallway. She also gave me trash bags and asked if I could bring my own trash to her. It was very disappointing to receive that kind of service from the housekeeping staff. However, I have no complaints about the reception and restaurant staff. They were extremely helpful, kind, and welcoming, and they made my stay much more enjoyable."

"Small pools and one was closed. But who needs pools when you have the ocean right there with a natural pools. Everyone was friendly and my stay was awesome. The only issue I have was very early in the morning. They were burning something on site and so it smelled like a campfire in my room which is not necessarily a pleasant smell to wake up to. That would be my main and only complaint."
