"Very old property. Had a room upstairs right next to the stairs. Other guests were dragging suitcases up right next to our open window. Very noisy. Had to keep windows open because it was very warm and there was NO AC! And no elevator for us to get our luggage to our room. Fortunately someone helped us as we are in our late sixties. "The staff was so helpful and friendly. We were greeted with the familiarity of old friends. The owner made us delicious char-grilled burgers while we were at the pool and the GM brought out the fun water games for my daughter to play with. There was a movie night on the lawn with popcorn. Highly recommend this Inn for anyone traveling with family looking for a low-key experience where you feel like Ohana. Plus they have very sweet kitties wandering around the property. "We had the absolute best stay at the Koa Kea. We loved how the resort is on the smaller side, and you can easily walk out of your room and to the pool, beach, or to some nearby businesses (little fish, puka dog, surf shop..). The staff was super friendly and accommodating as well. I also loved being greeted with real leis, chocolate for our honeymoon, and wine in the room when we arrived! The pool bar had some yummy food, and good drinks. The sunrise yoga was fantastic as well. We stayed here...
