"We arrived after a long train journey and a visit to the V&A. The guy on reception couldn’t have been more helpful. Very polite and knowledgeable. Had a drink in the bar before we went to our room. "I will start by saying that customer service offered to cancel our stay. We chose to stay despite being unhappy due to our short time in London - check-in was confusing, the pub/tavern was not terribly clean -we found dog poo along the walkway. The remote checkin support person did not know we needed two different codes to enter the building - this was not a hotel! An unmarked building with individual apartments. "Grubby, tired hallway and stairs made my heart sink as I self checked in. The room was a pleasant surprise. Large and spacious. No shower was a disaster the fact it was adjoining a pub with loud music wasn't the best but the bed was comfortable and I had a pleasant stay. "
