"Room was very spacious and clean. Washer and dryer in room was great, but a bit confusing to translate. Automated check in was easy. Only thing that was disappointed in was the tatami mat room wasn’t actually bamboo mats, it was vinyl covering. Not a big deal, but I was excited to have a tatami room. "

"One of the best hotels we stayed at in Japan. The front desk staff were so friendly, polite, and helpful. Truly exceptional service. The room was spotless, amenities were top quality, and the location was perfect. Also, the shampoo and conditioner were amazing, best I’ve ever used! I’d love to know the brand. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in Japan! "

"Property was excellent. Easy to trains and buses. Kitchenette was fully stocked. Had everything you need if you wanted to prepare your own food. Only problem is property is close to a busy street and tradfic noise during the dav is a problem. Other than that, highly recommend. "

"Our family of 5 absolutely loved our stay. It was a perfect location. Very close to main train station. Only a short ride away to most big attractions in Kyōto. The staff and service were incredible. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend this if you are a family with children or bigger group. It provides a larger space than most other hotels we stayed. "

"Staff was amazing and super helpful. Stayed in Loft A and it’s got 2 bunk beds and a big sunken living room. Plenty of floor space. Good with or without kids. Water pressure is amazing. Laundry is quick and easy. Lots of amenities in lobby to “rent for free” during your stay. Everything from kitchen appliances if you want to use your kitchens to cook all the way to Polaroid cameras to use during your trip. Super cool idea! Very close to Kyoto station and donQ. Loved this jotel"

"Best place for solo female traveller to stay if u wanna go around gion-uji-biwa area. It’s located infront of main road and it’s easy to spot the hotel. It’s also easy to bring your luggage from sanjo station. The room space is spacious and i really wanted to extend my stay for one day but i have other plans."
