"The room was overheated and I could not turn the air system off. I put it on 60 and whether it was AC or heat (my options), the room was always at least 75 but I was able to open a window beside my bed which helped."

"We had a large room that was great for the price we paid for it. The breakfast spread was nice and reminded me of what you might find in little inns in Europe. Great. location to everything the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago offers without the excessive pricing."

"We were in room 500, great corner room! I love the old charm. Traffic noise is a bit much and it was a Thursday evening. I imagine a holiday weekend in that area would be pretty noisy. But the bed was comfy! Staff is very courteous. I would stay again, I'll try for floor 12 next time."

"Our bathroom door was a sliding door that was nearly impossible to open or close. That was very frustrating. The walls were incredibly scuffed up everywhere. The room could use a lot of updating. Breakfast was great and the staff was amazing."
