"The room [room 10, double en suite] was nothing like the pictures. First you had to lean on the door to get in cos it's too big for the frame. Then once you are in it smelled like a teenage boys room, sweat and lynx. The carpet was badly worn and peeling off the floor, the cheap divan base was broken so the mattress was either springy or wavy, didn't dare actually look at the mattress... Cobwebs around the window show how long since that was cleaned and general bits of wallpaper coming off the...

"Missed breakfast which was always my highlight of my stays here previously. But this was my third time staying. I love the location; I can drink my coffee in my bay window and listen to the waves from Bae Ceredigion. It’s super close to the castle and just a short walk to the pier and town."

Plenty of on street parking if you can get it as it is very busy but fortunately we were able to get 1 of the 2 off-road spots at the rear coincidentally just outside our bedroom window. Well situated near the sea front and pier which were about 5 minutes walk and only round the corner from the tram for the Great Orme which is well worth the ride to the top with wonderful...

"First impression when arriving was a shambles the motel looked like a block of flats. Three floors high. The entrance to the rooms was by way of a fire escape. The door to the room didn’t look safe as the key card was disabled and a lock put in above it. The beer garden was down below, the restaurant looked like a motorway cafe. We had to ask where reception was and it was in the adjacent building. Big improvements are needed to upgrade windows and doors. We paid for our stay and then left. ...

"Staying at Roch Castle was a truly unique experience and well recommended. Location to the peninsula was great and the charm of staying in a 12th century renovated castle was great experience. It has been renovated to the highest quality and has lovely sitting rooms to relax in."
