"Whilst the room we stayed in could have done with some TLC, the staff were great. The pool was a good but thought the jacuzzi might have been a little hotter. The food was great with a nice selection of both food and drinks."

"Booked it same day, the room was on the 4th floor and as it was during the heatwave, was a bit warm, they did provide us with couple of fans that helped. It was a lovely room with a sofa, TV and vanity table. A nice view of trees and sunset. It was clean everywhere. "

"Wasnt clear how to check in, but rung in the morning and was advised to call to pub for room card. The room was very clean, and well presented. Can see they are looked after. Nice walk in shower with 2 separate heads. Plenty of storage for clothes etc. Bed was very comfortable and made for a great night sleep. The food served at the Pen Y Cae was amazing and all the staff we encountered throughout our stay were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much bother for them. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Trout Cafe. Our room was really clean and comfortable, there was an electric fan which was appreciated as it was very warm weather. The shower was easy to use and very good. There were biscuits with the tea and coffee which was nice. We had breakfast and the food was very good and included in the price of the room. The hosts could not have been friendlier and gave us some great advice and local knowledge on places to visit. We would absolutely stay again on our...

"Just returned from a 2 night stay spacious room for 3 of us. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was above the bar which had music on 2nd night there which went off at 11 so did not affect our stay. Didn't book breakfast there was a wetherspoons 2 minutes walk away. Would stay there again."
