"Superb little gem of a hotel with easy access to the nearby lift. We booked a family room last minute and couldn’t have been happier with our stay! Super friendly staff, super clean and cozy, with comfortable beds. Highly recommended! "

"We finally found a hotel in Switzerland with air conditioning...it was very much needed after a long day of hiking. All of the staff we had contact with were exceptionally friendly. The hotel is very well located in a lovely pedestrian only part of town surrounded by great restaurants, easy walk from the train station. We loved the view from our balcony. The honesty bar was an added bonus and breakfast was the best we had in Switzerland. I would go out of my way to stay in this hotel again."

"Very centrally located lovely staff helpful the gym is very close and nearby and well appointed Would recommend and would stay here again"

"Tout était très bien. Le personnel aimable et très agréable"

"Beautiful Views. Says 17 minute walk but they don't tell you its up a mountain so more like half hour or more if hauling luggage. They should send email telling uou they have a shuttle to pick you up. After getting there uou pay $8-10 for shuttle each way down to town and back. Only 3 restraurants and no shops. Loved the salt water pool."

"Our stay at this hotel was in early September and the hotel was just opening up for the season. The front desk were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond with providing information about the area. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant staff were attentive to the guests. If you have the option to select the mountain side view it's worth the extra money. The view of the Imperial Crown was absolutely breathtaking and such a peaceful atmosphere."

"The Hotel Ermitage was great in every way. The hotel staff was exceptional. Everyone was incredibly pleasant, personable, and helpful. The quality of the accommodations was excellent; clean and well attended. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Oeschinensee Gondola and within walking distance of the town center. Very peaceful. Overall, it was a great experience."
