Modern spacious town hotel

Nicely located near town centre but on quiet side of centre so peaceful with a sub 10 minute walk to station or station square where the trains to Andermatt leave and the Glacier express. The town shows it has a long relationship with English visitors.

Brig is a lovely town. The hotel is easy to find (5min walk from station). Has everything you need. Clean room, air-con, breakfast hall. Near the Stockaipergarten.

A good choice for a stopover after crossing the alps. Clean, comfortable with a restaurant attached and many others in a nearby pedestrian zone. We would definitely return.

Nice quality hotel located in the city center, good clean rooms, breakfast basic but good enough. No bar or restaurant but plenty of those in the city center. Located nicely in the center of the valley to easily reach the landmarks like Zermatt,Saas-Fee, Furka pass and Simplon pass.

Clean, great location.Whole town very walkable. The air conditioning did not work. On arrival in mid September the room was hot and stuffy. The wall adjuster will not allow you to lower the temperature at all. We were told the temperature would lower after a few minutes but that never happened .The bathroom had no air and stank of sewage. A fan was brought into the room but did not help till well in the night when the outside temperature began to fall. Old mid 20th century building with no air circulation at all. To say the air condition needs upgrading is an understatement ! This place maybe good in freezing winter but not at any other time. Would never stay here again, ever!

Pros: I liked having air conditioning (silent) and a cool floor, as it was very hot outside. It’s central located. Room had a lot of space. Cons: Although not on a busy street, I was sleeping on the first floor and was annoyed by people yelling on the street at night. Also, the bathroom was not smelling so good, so had to keep the door closed.

Our 2 day stay in Brig Switzerland.

We chose the good night inn after reading trip advisor reviews. Wow what s find the hotel is, it's right in the middle of Brig the staff are lovely and so helpful the rooms are nicely appointed with everything you need. The breakfasts are in a magnificent large downstairs room and there is loads of choice to be had. The other bonus is they have an underground car park which was great for us as we could park our Motorcycle in it safely. It's very quiet even though it's in the centre of town with some stunning Alpine scenery. We would stay here again when traveling through Switzerland it's surrounded by shops and restaurants that we didn't think we're that expensive to eat out at considering the bigger cities like Lucernne or Bern Montreux etc. All in all a great stay on our way to our next hotel stay in Lake Maggiore in Italy.
