"Hotel and staff were impeccable. Perfect location to stay if you are in Verona to see the Opera in the Arena. I enjoyed the pre-Opera buffet in the American Bar- it was a light meal of appetizers including cheeses, fruit kabobs, sandwiches, cruditรฉs and small desserts including a choice of drink. Having the choice to relax with this dinner as a solo traveler saved me from trudging around town or worrying with a reservation that would allow me to make it to the opera with plenty of time to spare before the show began.
