Hotel Mastino

Hotel Mastino

8/10 Good
"Staff was kind, nothing to say about it, but the room we got was not fantastic. We slept there but many things seemed missing or damaged, electrical device (light) were plugged incorrectly that the switch would cut off power to our phone charger but not the lamp? The bathroom had a awefull smell and the room had no real window. The only window had barely any light visible. On the booking it mentioned a โ€œsauna/spaย ยป but it is not on site, it is โ€œcloseโ€ but 35โ‚ฌ for 2 hoursโ€ฆ Breakfast was not supposed to be included but they said it was, we went since it was included and that was really nice. It had a lot of stuff and the items were delicious. Buffet with bacon, pastry, good coffee and so much more."

"The location of the hotel is excellent - just a couple of minutes stroll from the Arena, in the centre of Verona and everything is nearby (including the tourist sightseeing bus). The hotel staff were polite and friendly. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Our room was small - but we had opted for the cheapest! It had a very small bathroom with a very small shower room which was impossible to use without flooding the room! There is an attached restaurant which is independent of the hotel - it's good, but expensive compared to others locally."
