The room is dated and there is abit of smell in the halls and rooms. The room is otherwise clean and includes a kitchen. I had no issues with mice and bugs that other people mentioned. The front staff were friendly. For the price the room is more than adequate. The location is outstanding. Two blocks from the beach. I would stay again.

Great spot to stay. Close to bus stops. Heaps of food choices. Supermarkets close. Beach over the way with beautiful sunsets. Beds were comfy. Shower was good. Kitchen had what we needed. Hallway was a bit smelly and hotel out dated in general but great location.

The outside of the hotel doesn’t look very nice but our room was extra clean a very big. The fridge and the microwave didn’t work. But for the price it was super good. Walking distance to the beach, park and restaurants. I recommend it.

This is a favorite. It is an oldie but in a perfect location. We return year after year. This is basic accommodation right on the edge of Stanley Park.

The property is in an excellent location but is badly in need of updating, the decor is of the seventies, New beds are a must and towels are well worn. It's a pity that the hotel has not been updated as it's location is top notch

The elevator intermittently worked (not a big deal for us, but could be for others), the room was dirty (cleaning rags were left on the dresser), but the view was incredible. Staff was very friendly

I stayed here in early March for five nights. I had a nice view of the bay in a spacious room for an affordable price. It's a budget hotel so I wasn't expecting turn-down service or chocolates on my pillows. My stay was quiet and the west end was super chill with a cornucopia of restaurants and cuisines in almost every direction from the front of the hotel. I will stay here again and recommend this place to the budget-minded and unpretentious.

This hotel needs urgent big maintenance; the carpets through hallways are very dirty and smell; lights need improvement; the rooms are big and comfortable but old and broken. Location is excellent and in a pretty place. The parking access is very narrow and unsafe, and even the stalls are too narrow. Also, access to parking is very difficult.

The staffs at front desk were not available and polite, with no uniforms and in a very bad condition. The room was smelling like detergent and the fan was not working well. I don’t recommend any body to choose it.

The staff was friendly and helpful and for the price the location was close to the water and the event we were attending. The room didn’t feel dirty but didn’t really feel clean either. Probably could use some maintenance and TLC ad there were holes in walls, water damaged baseboards and filled holes that have never been painted. Fabric on the chairs had holes as well as peeling paint created questions about how much attention the rooms actually received. I would probably stay again if I needed an economic option in downtown Vancouver but it wouldn’t be my first choice.
