"The free breakfast was simple yet tasty, especially the waffles. The bed was one of the most comfortable places we slept on during our roadtrip. We were missing a hairdryer but the staff was able to find one, though it had screws sticking out of the back. The shower pressure does suck here but at least it’s sort of spacious."

The location was very good we were able to walk to nearby shops, restaurants, chocolate champagne. We only had 2 hand towels in our room. We called the desk and towels were sent up quickly. Didn’t really care for the shower water pressure. Overall we had an amazing experience at Ballys"

"The hotel was in a good area. Walking distance to 2 beaches. And right across the road, there was direct access (via stairs) to the lake. Walking distance to several restaurants including the Idle Hour (a wine tasting place with the best charcuterie board) and Heidi’s Pancake House. The pool/ hot tub area was very nice. No complaints!"

"This is a ski and summer property, worn outside from ski boots tromping in and out but the room was clean and the views from the 7th floor are the best! The individual that checked us in was very accomodating. Jacuzzi tub didn't function but I didn't inquire about it, used it as a soaking tub. Make sure to park straight due to the tight spots."

"Overall experience was very good. Near lake tahoe I dont think there are very modern facilities in CA side. This is an old building but the rooms are well maintained. One small tight Elevator. Parking is tight for big cars if you want shaded garage spaces. but open parking is also available. Rooms are Big and spacious. Bathrooms are clean. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. "
