"Easy check in, clean and tidy, welcoming team, only thing missing was a toilet lid, so more concerned with dropping toiletries off the shelf!! Otherwise great stay, food was excellent."

"Good position in centre of Holmfirth. Unfortunately lots of road works going on. Pleasant friendly staff. Good variety for breakfast. Carpet on stairs and corridors very marked. Rooms very clean. "

"Staff very accommodating. Only booked day before, twin room booked. Found room slightly small could have done with an easy chair for relaxing whilst taking turns in bathroom. Found room slightly noisy overnight due to be over kitchens. Sounded like a fan was on all night. Would book again but a different room. Good breakfast, staff very polite and friendly and would recommend. Local to town."

"I really liked this place, room was great, good parking, staff were excellent and my meal in the evening was really good with a nice wine list. However what let it down was the final hurdle, the breakfast. I ordered the full english but unfortunately my sausage was cold, bacon way over cooked (probably been cooked a while earlier) and the black pudding was just terrible. This was a disappointing end to what was a great stay. I will definately be back again and would encourage others to stay...

"Lovely comfortable room with excellent facilities. Parking was tricky but managed to find a space on the road a short walk away (note: only one side is free parking). Food in the pub was lovely with a good selection. "

"Arrived over an hour before standard check-in and room was ready. Lovely, large room in a cottage by the river with free parking. Staff Lovely & friendly. Got back just before 11pm and was able to get more milk for a late brew. Only grumble, not enough milk left in the first place. Loved our Eggs Royale for breakfast. 11am check out is just right. Would reccomend."
