"I would prefer it hotter but it was warm enough. Food was delicious, very good quality, staff extremely helpful and friendly, spa is beautiful with wide range of facilities. "

"Room was recently renovated, modern and clean which overlooked the spa gardens. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Only downside was unfortunately, likely due to the age of the property the room directly above had very squeaky floorboards which disrupted our sleep. "

"We have stayed numerous times, but unfortunately they seem to be on a downward slope of decline. Rooms are tired, make up mirror was chipped badly and the handle came off the shower wooden floors scratched really bad. Ordered room service and was asked to pay for it there and then which made me feel as if we were going to do a runner I’m not pay!! Check in at 3pm and only had one member of staff on and was not happy and welcoming at all. She needs to go on a customer service course. We had to...

"GOOD SELECTION FOR BREAKFAST. A BIT SLOW ON THE SERVICE - HAD TO GO LOOKING FOR STAFF ON A FEW OCCASIONS AFTER WAITING FOR BUTTER, MORE TOAST, MORE JUICE. WOULD HAVE LIKED TO JUST REMAIN SEATED WITH A MUCH QUICKER RESPONSE FROM STAFF."

"The hotel is lovely and clean, the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much for them. The hotel is a bit dated. The towel rail is never switched on, but it didn’t ruin the stay. The food is excellent and not too expensive. I would definitely stay again. "

"The hotel is set in beautiful grounds.Quick booking in with very helpful reception staff.The rooms are very spacious and and very clean.All the staff at the bar and at breakfast are are very friendly.We were a group of 6 people and we all could not fault our stay.Would definately stay again and recommend to others."

"The bathroom was dirty, the toilet seat wasn't on straight. Blood on the bed sheet. Staff were not interested and unhelpful. We had to pay to park at the hotel when we arrived. We thought we would try to spa and we also had to pay for that. We asked for towels in the spa and the staff just shrugged and said there wasn't any. The changing rooms were dirty and no lockers to put valuables. The steam room was set at the temperature of the sun and the sauna wasn't on "

"We have stayed here before and it was perfect. Unfortunately this time round it wasn't. The room was cold. We put the heating on which was switched off at some point during the night. Leading to me having excruciating pain. Then there was a huge amount of noise through the night above and at the side of us. I think we were place next to staff quarters or where they do work in the hotel. Didn't sleep at all and it was frustrating. But the Spa was amazing and Anastasia was brilliant."

"bedding and towels all very clean but the room it’s self needed a deep clean, dust everywhere, if you moved the bed the dust was thick, hadn’t been cleaned properly in a very long time. It’s as if they had taken loads of bookings and opened parts of the hotel that perhaps weren’t used on a regular basis"

"The room was sort of clean but had clearly seen better days. The bathroom was not great. The toilet roll holder had been pulled out of the wall by a previous guest and was just hanging there. The towel rail did not work and was thick with dust, the walls were scuffed and marked for what appeared to be a long time. I like the hotel, have stayed before but they do need to sort out the rooms "

"It was but the amount of people consuming the food it was busy. However the hotel should make it policy that people are not going in there with pyjama’s and dressing gown, its off putting. In addition i witnessed someone man handle all the baps. Again disgusting. "
