"Breakfast was excellent, the accommodation was dated and unkept. The stairs are very narrow and steep. The staff were quite indifferent and seemed to be occupied with other tasks. They ordered my taxi which was the best part of service."

"Pleasant 3rd stay here. Dinner was good pub grub but portions were too much for us. Many pubs now offer smaller meals as an option. Superior room was very good with all amenities supplied. It was mid April but the room was incredibly warm and we struggled to sleep. Windows wouldn’t open and wall thermostat was at zero. "

The reception area was cold and the man on reception was only concerned about the wedding guest that were staying. Not helpful at all. Food was overpriced in the bar area. Cold dark and dingy is the only way to describe this place."

"Stayed here over the weekend and what a fabulous venue. From the very first moment to the last, it was perfect. The owner was very accomadating and the cleaner was a wonderful lady. The place was spotless, the hot tub was brilliant and the property was beautiful and modern. Will definitely be returning!"
