"Staff were brilliant. Hotel was spotless, Room and bathroom, very clean. Buffet breakfast, cooked and continental was superb, and was constantly being topped up. Free parking was a bonus. Would definitely stay again"

"While the Hotel is in a super location it is in need of updating. There was no drawers in the room to put clothes in and room157 had water dripping from a light fitting in the bathroom. This has obviously happened for some time as there was staining on that part of the ceiling. I reported this to reception as we checked out. There was no lu brush and we had to ask for another toilet roll as only one half used was provided. The food was average. Not somewhere we would stay again"

"I stayed in a room with a king size bed which was as very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very nice. All the staff were very friendly and one young lad who was training to work on the front desk, helped me with my check in and showed and helped me down some steps to my room with my suitcase and bags. Unfortunately, I didn’t get time to use the facilities this time but I have used them many times in the past and enjoyed them."

"Servicable, but not great. Shower was falling apart, no one available on reception for check out. Corridors smelt of cigarette smoke and the fire alarm went off at 5:20 in the morning. The vending machine advertised was empty, there are stains on the ceilings and burn marks on the floors. Very much in need of a makeover."

"All and all a very good stay. Unfortunately the only food available is from their restaurant and it’s expensive. I ordered a pizza for carry out to take up to my room and they wrapped it is tin foil which caused it to be very soggy. There’s a reason pizza usually comes in a box!"

"Excellent value for money, friendly helpful staff, lovely location in Kerridge, characterful main building, good low cost buffet breakfast. Bathrooms ready for refurbishment but low rates reflect that this is not 5* deluxe establishment."

"Lovely big clean room bar the smell of fresh paint as you walked in and the bathroom door sticking. All the staff were lovely though and plenty of parking spaces plus a a good choice of hot and cold food at breakfast. Lots of other eateries if you so wished within a 2 to 5 minute radius too and the Aston Moss tram stop which will get you to Co-op Live Arena / The Etihad stadium and beyond about a 10 minite walk away."
