"Conveniently situated & serves the one of the best breakfasts in all of the travelling we’ve done over the years throughout the UK. The owner-hosts were very helpful & genuinely friendly without being imposing. Only one minor criticism of the room in that I found one of my pillows was flat & the other like having my head on a rock. "The hotel was kept beautifully clean and well presented throughout the week I was there. The proprietress was very welcoming on my arrival and helped me with my suitcase, The room was a good size and was well maintained except for a broken drawer in the chest of drawers which I reported as soon as possible. "The main reason for my 2 star rating was the unacceptable noise at night. Sounded like a immersion heater or similar going beserk. It was like trying to sleep next to a jet engine. I was in room 2. I left very early as it was so bad, I just couldn't stand the noise. The hotel wasn't too bad, but ifyou can't sleep what's the point of staying? Not recommended. I'm glad it was only one night."
