"Firstly, £15 a day for the privilege of parking at the hotel and it’s on a first come first serve basis, is more the norm now bits it’s appalling, if you go out your not guaranteed your spot once returned. Tv didn’t work until I asked twice for it to be sorted and the fridge didn’t work and didn’t get sorted. However, it’s a lovely new/clean and well designed hotel. Comfy bed, lovely on suite and a great location for Paignton and close by Torquay. Overall we would go again!"

"The hotel with the rooms was very outdated. Horrible smell everywhere. Staff were nice and helpful though. We could only park behind the dirty building, car park full of rubbish. The walls were paper-thin, so we heard every conversation (it was rather a screaming between family members) and door slam in the hallway. Ruined our entire weekend. The room was filthy, with dust thick on the Cupboards, shelves, no hoovering was done, I had dirty towels. TV couldn’t be used. The price was very low...

"Perfect location by the beach and centre of town. The room was big enough for us and the beds were comfy. The hotel is a bit dated, however it was clean and had a nice lounge area with live entertainment each night which we enjoyed."

"We had a lovely stay, myself and my husband with our daughter and her partner we all said we will be back again, i have asked for a quote to bring our family down for my 60th birthday in June 2027 for 23 of us as there is so much to do at the hotel for the adults and our grandchildren, we ate both night's and couldn't Fault the food the lift was broken down but the hotel did notify us before we arrived and did give me a room below due to my arthritis so thank you again! "The pre-welcome before we arrived with a phone call and email etc. advising of the entertainment schedule etc. was a fantastic touch, so was the professional manner of the staff member when I called to ask about an extra guest. On arrival however the welcome at the reception wasn't the warmest, both females on the front desk didn't look or sound the happiest but we're professional. We found our apartment which was very spacious however was showing signs of disrepair in places and lacking...

"I made a mistake not to book direct to be eligible for free parking. Many steps and corridors at the TLH Toorak,if you haven't got any mobility issues then it's perfectly suitable. Breakfast met our needs ,few basic cerelias and cooked breakfast as expected . Many over 80 yrs old ,assume its a popular hotel for OAP's."
