"I recommend the Black Horse. Very quiet and restful. The main building (pub & restaurant) is quite old and interesting with multiple levels and interior structures. The Garden Area was a delightful area for a pint and dinner, service was friendly as was the check-in. The grounds are sloped creating an inviting green impression. The beds are comfortable, the room size is adequate as is the bathroom. It has the typical bath/shower combo with a (typical) high sided tub. As we get older, we find using that type of shower more difficult and will start avoiding them when possible. I want to stress that my comment is not meant to be negative about the Black Horse but rather those type of tubs. When the time comes to renovate, I hope they change to a walk-in shower. "

"Amazing Hotel. Friendly staff, lovely and clean, restaurant catered for all requirements. Breakfast delicious and so much choice. Beautiful outlook and easy to visit local areas such as Leeds Castle. Would definitely come back."
