"Excellent location next to the train station Upon arrival we was greeted by a very cheerful friendly receptionist called Dean that went out of his way to make us welcome and he upgraded our room which made our stay wonderful. The room was lovely and a great view of the city . The bed was so comfy which aided a good nights sleep "

"For the price paid... OK. Stopped here several times before and this was the worst experience. The images on the website didn't accurately represent the room, (paid extra for a larger room) which was a letdown from the start. But it was alright. Upon arrival, I noticed the kitchen area had dirty marks all over the gloss cabinets, as well as long black hairs on the floor in the lounge, which suggested a lack of attention to detail in the cleaning process. "We stayed at Clayton for our daughters 3rd birthday weekend, and when we got to the room there was a little surprise for our daughter, balloons and banners. This made ours and especially our daughters day. Thank you so much for that. Apart from this, the breakfast, the room and service are exceptional. Staff have been very accommodating to our requests. We will definitely stay here again."

"No frills hotel in the middle of Leeds. Easy walk from the station and short bus ride to Stylus at Leeds Uni to watch a band. Great value and didn't cost much more than an Uber would have been to go back to Halifax. Check-in was easy, bed and pillows were comfy, air con was efficient and water was hot and powerful. Yes there's not much room round the bed and the bathroom is small but for 1 night it was fine. There was no view and we couldn't open our window but like I said the air con cooled...
