"We used the hotel for a one night stay plus breakfast and a meet point for a coffee with family before our journey home up north. Hotel was beautifully presented, easy to find and clean. As with most hotels that are not new, there were small picky bits around the hotel that a good housekeeper would pick up on… light bulbs out, chip on ceramic bath tub, one bath towel in double occupancy, light discoloured curtains. However, a pleasant stay, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent, beds were clean and fresh, coffee lounge/bar accommodating and with a modern feel. Great choice to stay. Would recommend 😊"

"We stayed one night as a stop off on a longer journey. I found the property to be highly convenient and well priced. The rooms are compact but nicely decorated although some aspects are well worn. What stood out to me most was the nice welcome we received especially as it was no nonsense and got us to our rooms quickly. I would recommend this property as a perfectly acceptable place to stay."

"The staff were very helpful and lovely, me and my friends stayed here for reading festival and they were very supportive in accommodating us. The self cater kitchen is lovely and includes everything you would need, the lounge is a nice quiet area to relax and the rooms were decent for a youth hostel with clean bedsheets and bunkbeds! The area itself is lovely and quaint we were very happy to stay here especially since the train was only a 20 minute walk away."
