If you don't have a lot of luggage and don't mind walking, I suggest you walk from the airport. There is a 7-11 and a few restaurants around, but not much. The area is quiet, except for the planes. "I had a wonderful 1 night stay at Chez Charly during Songkran. The place is very close to the airport, and it’s a nice 1 mile walk to Naiyang beach. Chez Charly is bright and beautiful and full of greenery. So lovely to wake up to! And the hosts are absolute gems. So accommodating! I would definitely stay here again. :D P.S. I highly recommend the upstairs room with the balcony. ^-^"

Considering the remote location, hiring a self-driving ride for transportation might be a good idea. The staff is friendly, and the rooms and bedding are clean.
