"Reception was clean and staff was nice. We checked in quickly and got a room on corner with view of Hollywood sign. Room was colorful and clean and big enough. Bathroom was spacious and clean organized. But I don’t think we had an exhaust fan in the bathroom but there was a window that was open and helped with the steam. Bathroom has a sliding door rather than a door with a lock. , so no sound proof bathroom.
A suggestion, it would be nice to have complementary water bottles in the room."

"There was a nice patio area to drink your coffee in the morning but overall I would not recommend this hotel. It’s in a very grimy and downtrodden part of Hollywood so you can’t venture out. Our bathroom had ants in it, they didn’t give us clean towels and clean out our trash like I requested and it’s so loud at night from the hard floors and people slamming doors due to the lack of sound dampening material you can’t sleep, and the beds are not comfortable. Unfortunately, we were disappointed...

"The whole building is unique, the room was clean, well maintained, shower was fine, the bathtub is low which im guessing was the style back then. Staff were friendly and welcoming, came early and Betty let me keep my bag in storage until check which was nice.
The cafe next door served sweet treats and coffee etc, the area if you dont have a car is a little out of the way. The closest grocery store is Pavillion which is a 20 min walk away up Melrose and Wilton.
It's close to Paramount studios...

"We booked this hotel specifically because they offered an airport shuttle, a pool, and a tv that would be able to cast from our phones so that we could watch the UFC fights. The hotel itself was beautiful. Our room was huge and well stocked. The amenities and customer service sucked. When I called to book the airport shuttle, I was told that our flight landed too late and the shuttle would no longer be running. To take it back to the airport after our stay we were told we’d have to be dropped...

"We booked and paid in full
approximately six weeks in advance for a room with two queen beds, a real window and a view, as well as a microwave and an electric cooktop.
Upon arrival, the hotel informed us that our original room was unavailable due to overbooking. We were initially assigned a room with a fake window facing a concrete wall. We were told that there was nothing the hotel could do, that we should complain to agent company ourselves, or that we could check out at any time.
