"This was by far our favourite accommodation in Japan. The manager was amazing and the accommodation was spacious, traditional but will all of the modern facilities. We loved it and wished we had spent more time here. In fact, once we moved to Osaka, we travelled back twice to spend time in this area and a little town called Sanjo. "

"Superb hotel with a zen feeling the moment one steps into the lobby! Room was large, clean and comfortable. Liked the tablet-controlled lighting, air-conditioning and curtains. Included the breakfast option and it made for an excellent stay overall."

"We had a short but comfortable stay. Hotel was fairly accessible from Kyoto station. Room was nice and fairly spacious, and most importantly, clean. Although the bathroom is on the slightly smaller side, it's not too uncomfortable."
