"Our family of 5 absolutely loved our stay. It was a perfect location. Very close to main train station. Only a short ride away to most big attractions in Kyōto. The staff and service were incredible. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend this if you are a family with children or bigger group. "A truly wonderful small hotel. A very soothing bedroom, beautifully designed with its own onsen bath. Lots of thoughtful and generous touches, without being over the top. (No outside view because windows are screened, but that added to the sense of serenity.) The bath was a wonderful way to end the day. "This place is VERY clean, pleasant and convenient. Near Kyoto station but not so close that you notice when you’re at or outside the hotel. Beds were comfortable. Staff were nice. Laundry room was helpful but expensive - but worth it for the convenience. I thought I wouldn’t get a machine as there are only 3 but I did (on a rainy Sunday midday). "Nice small hotel 750m from JR Kyoto. Room was Hollywood Twin . Big enough for lower than avg price for Kyoto hotel. Clean, daily servicing if wanted, Free coffee, tea, ice drinks as much as like. Great friendly front desk staff, who mostly spoke English. Across road from 7/11 and many restaurants in area - wagu beef, Thai, Nepali, Japanese and vegeterian. Close to bus routes and subway across the bridge."
