"We stayed at 2 other hotels in Japan and this our favorite. The room and the hotel itself was absolutely beautiful and very clean. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The hotel is conveniently located next to a grocery store. The hotel amenities included a snack/drink bar, coin laundry, and a public bath (super clean). The only downside was the size of the room but that's a given in Japan hotel. Still enough space to get around. Would 10000 percent stay here again. "

"One of the best hotels we stayed in Japan. It was further from all the places we want to explore in Kyoto but it was conveniently located next to Kyoto station so it was still a great location to be able to catch a train around the city to explore. "Unexpected hole in the wall type of property. One wouldn’t expect that it looks the way it does inside based on its exterior. Very modern, clean, and elegant inside. Outstanding interiors. The Double Room is decent size. Bathroom and shower area is larger than most of the hotels/airbnbs we’ve stayed at in Japan. Love the long bench on one side of the wall, convenient for luggage placement. Has a Family Mart a few steps away and multiple dining options around including an amazing sushi place...
