The staff was fabulous..the room...not so much. Stained carpets, mirror disintegrating, just a 2 and a half hotel. The noise between rooms was as if they were sitting next to you. We heard entire conversations from the hall. This place needs reno in the worst way! Im going to make my travel agent stay here as punishment.

Limited menu compared to a few years ago, the chicken curry was bland and tasteless
The check in took about 30 minutes at 9:30pm.
While this was a very affordable option for staying near the airport, it did not feel clean. The carpet in the room was very stained and didn't seem like it had even been vacuumed (i.e. lots of hair on the carpet). The bed felt clean but that was about it.
Besides the occasional plane, it was a quiet area and very easy to access the airport by public bus.
Ideal for those with an early morning flight or arriving late

The bloody lift would not go from ground car park to reception so had to lug everything around the hotel & back in front to reception & no-one seemed to think a lift service was required.
Checked into room. The aircon didn’t work. Waited in the heat for someone to come and fix it. Had to go and ask again. Eventually they came to confirm it was broken. Gave us another room. Supposed to have a queen bed, but got a double bed. It was pushed up against the wall, so you could only get out one side. Very inconvenient when you have to use the bathroom during the night. This was positioned on the side , so was unable to watch tv from the bed. Only one pillow per person. Generally it’s standard to have 2 pillows per person. Could hear the other rooms doors banging throughout the night.
Room conditions were terrible. The AC was not working properly, room lights are insufficient, one of the lights were blinking after switching it on. Moreover, the bath room door was not closing, need too much force to close it.
I was give room 129 with a window to where the drive is everyone arriving and departing could see straight in. I was also leaving on a work flight early in the morning and the noise for outside impacted my rest. The gym was also across the hall with an open door so as the early birds worked out the beeping of the machines further impacted my rest the I had to work 14hrs to Johannesburg as I’m airline crew
Aircon barely working, room uncomfortably hot, humid and small, rubbish hidden under beds, facilities quite dated but reception staff were very helpful, polite and attentive.
We stayed here for one night. The staff were friendly on arrival, dinner was good, the shower was hot and that was about it. The carpet in the hallways and our room was filthy and the room had a horrible musty smell. Just as well we could open the window.
