Top Swain County Hotel Reviews

Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bryson City

8/10 Good

"We were pleasantly surprised by the Bryson City Microtel. We were just coming in for one night and there were limited selections of quality hotels in the area. Being part of a larger chain, we thought it would be a reasonable choice. Much to our surprise, our room was as nice as much higher priced hotels in larger cities. The amenities were spare and the included breakfast was, well we went to a restaurant for breakfast instead of a limited choice of two cold cereals, small out-of-a bag bagels and marginal juice and coffee selections. However, In Bryson City, NC, for the price, it was a good choice."

Great Smokies Inn Cherokee

8/10 Good

"The location for the price is great, it's not exactly "luxury" but it's good for a 1-2 night stay. However, our bed felt damp? I'm not sure how else to explain it, but it was cold and felt damp. it almost had a mildew smell to it, but it was mainly just uncomfortable due to the cold, wet feeling. The staff was super friendly that we interacted with, and the lobby is adorable."
