"Took a minute for the staff to realize I was at the desk. There was ne bell to ding or abything. But the staff was friendly. The hotel itself was still under some renovation after the hurricane (which is fine) but there was some construction noises after we checked in at 3pm. They stopped around 5:30pm. The stairs going up to our room were kinda wonky (different heights). The room itself was clean and nice and the surrounding area was beautiful. There is a stream nearby that's absolutely lovely....
