"We stayed in 2 different rooms. The inside room had a window that opened into the foyer area above the check in desk. The room was hot and noisy. We moved to a room where the windows opened to the outside and the room was bigger. It was quieter and cooler. They did not have washcloths. The staff was helpful. The bar and staff was excellent. Buffet breakfast was great."

"Super quiet location yet super central. You can walk to Sultanhamet square in 6 mins and 10 min walk to the Grand Bazaar. Breakfast was amazing too. And the staff is very nice! "

"Cleaning is zero, I stayed 5 days room never been cleaned. Breakfast buffet was horrible and dirty (there was hair on scrambled egg which they put on buffet). Automatically you are getting negative vibes on breakfast area."

"We were during low season so breakfast was not plentiful. Very small room. Room with balcony isn’t soundproof at all. "

"Not horrible but definitely a hostel rather than a hotel. Three flight walk up a steep staircase to get to the room. Heating unit did not work well. Sketchy neighborhood but seemingly safe in the day time. Work done is relatively new but looks to be in a permanent state of unfinished details. I had my own bathroom but others are shared. It was not what I was expecting but ok for the price."

"Lovely hotel in the heart of the old town (so the roads around are narrow and hilly - but so is most of Istanbul) The area is safe, bustling with local shops and literally a 10 minute walk from all the famous sights in the old town. That includes the ferries and cruise suppliers. The rooftoo restaurant has exactly the views you see in the hotels website...its beautiful having breakfast and evening meal up there. We used the spa and you can use all the amenities including pool, sauna, steam room and haman. Only the massage/turkish bath teatments are extra. We had a turkish massage/bath and it was devine. So much more reasonable than in the dedicated hamans. The room was spotless, the staff were brilliant and we also pre booked transfer through the hotel. Whilst there may be cheaper alternatives, the driver in was brilliant and wanted to show off his beautiful city and kept stopping for usbto take ohotos etc. It was like a mini private tour. Top tip...if you book the airport transfer...you need to pay in cash to the hotel. All in all this was a perfect hotel in a perfect location for us and would heartily recommend."
