First room I was allocated to the air-conditioner was not working and on a hot 30° day I waited to unpack whilst I waited for the air-conditioner to start working, I ended up having to ring reception and they were very quick to move me to the wharf side, which was in my opinion of the better side anyway, and had a brand-new air-conditioning system. I will note though that the air-conditioner appears to be on a timer of some sort and continuously would turn...

"Excellent hotel. We loved its central location, good breakfast, and friendly staff, as well as the fact that you can fill up your own drinking water. What we didn't like was that our room was a bit small for two people with large suitcases; there wasn't enough closet space for both of us to unpack. Perhaps the biggest drawback was that the bathroom was very cold. We asked reception to sort this out, but they told us it was the central heating and there was nothing they could do (it was August)....
