"Rooms were plush and cozy, equipped with everything we needed and lots of extras we didn't know we needed, but certainly appreciated! The staff were all lovely, and the pub was a great spot for a snack and a drink. If every hotel we ever stay at is like one, we would be delighted."

"It isn’t a large hotel which makes it much more personable. Beautiful spacious rooms, especially the ones over looking the river with Juliet balcony, where you can watch the ducks & swans- all very idyllic. Staff are helpful & always available. Downstairs gives plenty of traditional country style pub vibes. If you are looking for an upmarket place to relax & chill out, this is the place to be. A major plus is the free on site parking. There is a 2 tier parking area next to hotel. Only issue...

"The hotel felt old in a good way, but the rooms - and especially the bathrooms - were up to date and beautifully maintained. We enjoyed lovely breakfasts in the sunny dining room and we left agreeing that the Alexander Pope was a hotel we would happily return to. It's also very convenient to central Twickenham and the 490 bus took us everywhere we needed to go."
