"Everything was great, the only small gripe I had was that it took a long time for the hot water to reach temperature for the shower, even using the electric boost option. Host was really helpful and room excellent and spacious for a solo traveller which was much appreciated."

"Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was beautiful and (when I was there) very quiet. There's also a small sauna and steam room, and a tiny (but perfectly formed) gym, Excellent breakfast selection, and again staff very helpful, even with late arriving guests. The bar menu was limited, but delicious. Had one of the best curries I've ever had there. It's a very convenient distance from Gatwick by car, so well worth staying at for an overnight before a...

"Perfect location for attending the London Temple nearby. Restaurant upstairs was lovely and the food was delicious. The bed was very comfortable. The room temperature could have been cooler, but we had no thermostat in the room so we opened the ground floor window. "

"absolutely lovely hotel! they staff were so kind and incredibly helpful. they rooms were nice and clean and the area itself is perfect for walking around to do some shopping. the train station is a 5-7 minute walk away which is also a plus. would happily stay here again!"

"My husband and I enjoyed everything about our stay at Ashdown Park Hotel. The team are super friendly, our room was lovely and very clean and luxurious. The grounds are well kept and a pleasure to stroll around. There are good fitness facilities, however we were there for a romantic trip. We had a lovely evening meal, but feel that there could have been more choice. The breakfast was delicious and well made. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay special. "
