Alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Dusche hat so gut wie keinen Wasserdruck, Zimmerreinigung nur auf Anfrage. Personal sehr freundlich und angenehm, Frühstück klein aber absolut ausreichend (frisches Obst und diverse Säfte, Wurst/Käse, Cornflakes, Croissants etc, alles kontinental, gekochte Speisen sowie alles andere außer Tee und Filterkaffee zum Aufpreis) Der große Parkplatz natürlich...

"We stayed for 3 nights, we were out and about most of the time so didn’t eat or use the bar but the staff were excellent and very helpful when we asked for things at reception. The renovation didn’t impact us at all and it’s nice to see that they’re bringing the decoration up to date. Our room was clean, modern, spacious and well equipped and the lounge was a blessing. We really enjoyed our stay and won’t hesitate to book here the next time we are in town."

"In an excellent location across the street from where the action is and a short (and beautiful) walk from the train station, this seven-room hotel is dated and quirky, but the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were crisp and new. Beware, the stairs are not for folks with the slightest mobility issues. I’d recommend it to people willing to trade ultimate modern comfort for the sake of inexpensive accommodations. "

"Howfield Manor is a really lovely hotel. Quite a unique venue. The staff were so helpful. This is my second time at the hotel yesterday was for sisters Celebration of Life. We were in the marque which was beautifully laid out, the food was extremely good and the staff were very helpful. We had a lovely room which was very clean and we had a superb view of the gardens. Highly recommended."
