"The Lodge was so surprising. Being on the Cathedral grounds, it evokes a sense of tranquility and calm. That feeling does not extend past the walls of the ground. The breakfasts were amazing. The staff was most accommodating. Everything was within the radius of the Lodge and walking to places was easy. The only thing that disappointed was that the standard double room has a tiny bed which was caused a snug bed-share challenge. It worked out. We're glad we chose that accommodation."

"We didn’t really use any of the hotel amenities. We were there only one night and just slept there. I didn’t realize though that there was no air conditioning and of course it was a heat wave happening and there was no elevator. The staff was very helpful with carrying our 4 pieces of luggage up some very step stairs to our room. We left at 4am, so we did not use the free breakfast."

"Not sure the huge price increase just to have a view of the Tower of London was worth it. No coffee/tea in room. Self check-in which was fast but I would have rather had someone greet me while I checked in. Just in case I had questions. Plus it makes it feel personalized. All that said, room was immaculate and bed comfortable."

"I stayed in the cottage in the grounds. It was well equipped for cooking , clean and comfortable as well as quiet ."

"The staff were fantastic very helpful and lovely to talk too and the room was beyond what I was expecting, beautifully clean lovely and warm the toilets were always clean and the shower was a walk in we absolutely enjoyed I stay and hopefully will be back next year. "Staff were very helpful but the rooms were very hot. Our room was on the top floor in the roof. Extremely hot with no air, only had a small fan, windows didn’t open very far, I understand our stay was in the heatwave but the heat in the room was unbearable, couldn’t sleep, there wasn’t any ventilation at all. We did ask to be moved to another room but there wasn’t any available, we was offered a bucket of ice to put in front of the fan, but didn’t make any difference. Overall not a very good...
