"I deal with contamination OCD, so finding hotels is scary and daunting, but this location was amazing and put my fears at ease. It was clean and spacious. Everything was lovely and the staff was wicked kind."

"The room was huge we had a king room, the water pressure in the sink was not great- the shower was awesome. Bigger size fridge then I was expecting so that was a nice surprise. Close to a dunkin, burger king and other food places. The pillows were odd, tiny. The room key kept deactivating so that was sort of annoying. Over all it was quiet, even with the hotel being full it was quiet not loud rude guest. We did have our dog, and other guests had dogs so there were barking but it wasnt loud."

"What an amazing stay! From the moment we checked in, we were blown away by the beautiful property, outstanding service, and gorgeous room. This trip was a gift from our kids, and it turned out to be one of the best presents we’ve ever received. We made wonderful memories and can’t thank everyone enough for such a special experience. "This is a gem of a place. I have stayed at the abner many times and am delighted to say it is always a treat. The hotel is warm charming sparkling clean and perfectly located with shopping and dining just outside your doors. The rooms are comfortably appointed with all the extras of a posh stay . The breakfast is a must and don’t skip the frittata. Dinner is a cozy culinary experience with an ample menu to cover many tastes but dine exquisitely. If open do not miss out on the rooftop lounge...

"The best way to describe this hotel. It’s a vintage hotel with a really nice vibe. Has an outdoor pool. Has an indoor pool as well that is heated. a really big fitness center with a couple TVs. Sometimes the lobby temperature could be off heck no big deal. I’ll come here every year. Pool outside is on pomperaug river overlooking the golf course. Plenty of parking. Restaurant onsite with great drinks and bar menu. TVs. Closes at 900/930pm"

"Property is well kept. Smells amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and replenished as needed. Rooms were spacious and clean. Parking garage is a plus and location was easily accessible and quiet. Would stay again"

"The rooms were nice and clean, the AC worked great. The beds are a little hard but comfortable enough, the breakfast was nice and hot but the pool was cold… the kids didn’t care though they had a blast. The staff were all very nice and helpful. Over all great stay for families."

"There was nothing about this place that we liked. The parking lot was being used by a crew of workers. The night after we slept in the king sized bed we found there was debris way down under the covers. It was disgusting. Obviously no one changed the sheets. The desk help was apologetic, but never offered to come and see what we were talking about and never offered to reimburse us!"
