The pros: our room was lovely with a large bathroom and great lighting, with very comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. Everything was very clean, too. We needed a few things sent up during our stay [extra water bottles, a bandaid] and the staff was VERY helpful and quick- upon checking in the staff was super friendly, too. The food there is great, including an excellent breakfast buffet and gluten free options, which is great and uncommon.
The cons: There were inconsistencies throughout our stay where it seemed like staff was trained different/did not communicate. For example, when we checked in, we were told we had complimentary breakfast and free parking due to my status, and on the first morning we signed a $0.00 receipt for breakfast, easy peasy. Later, though, we learned they had charged us $45+ for that breakfast,and when we went to ask about it, the front desk attendant the next morning said they "did not offer complimentary breakfast there" (they did). We also chose this hotel due to the on-site heated pool and the pool's hours listed online [open til 11]. When we went to the pool Sunday at 6 PM after looking forward to it all day, we learned the pool closed at 2 PM via a sign on the door, which was not what was listed ANYWHERE else, including the Sonesta website and the in-room information QR code they provide d.
Overall it's a lovely hotel, but inconsistencies and poor communication on policies and details would make me hesitant to stay again.
