Weekend at Meridian Apartments Southend

Greeted by a woman that settled us into apartment, she was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was modern and clean and met our needs. Unfortunately on settling in we noticed we had no wi fi as advertised which in turn we had no tv. The woman was sent back to try and rectify it but only worked for a few minutes. The lamp in lounge had no bulb and lamps beside bed in both rooms did not work. On running a bath and trying to wash up realised we had no hot water, due to time restraints we did not have time to report this. The intercom system did not work so had to run down two flights of stairs to let each other in if one went out. Overall apartment was nice but these little niggles put a dampener on weekend away.

Not what I expected

The lady that recieved us was so nice and welling to help.. unfortunately there is no front desk and no facilities.. internet very slow and it did not work after one day.. hot water run out quickly and heater stopped working and they told us that we have to restart it! Well I am sorry to say that if you are coming from GCC or UAE it is not place for you find somewhere else.. many thanks for the lady who welcomed us she the only staff we saw

very helpful staff.no indication or sign in front of property.well resourced apartment.i did not like the timed heating system as I had a baby and sometimes during the day I would have no hot water. A bowl or bucket as part of the apartment utensils would be great.overall I would stay here again and again.

Fantastic service, really enjoyed it.

This apartment is great value and was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. They gave me a free upgrade and lots of personal service, the people who manage the place are really friendly and make a lot of effort to give you everything you want. I was really impressed. It's very close to the airport which is really convenient and 5 minutes from town. I'd definitely go back there.
