"The room was like a sauna. There was no air as windows were falling apart and could not be opened. I was given two fans on request which just circulated the air. No sockets next to the bed so no way of charging phones unless at power point at end of room.
Decent breakfast but terrible sleep and experience."

"We stayed at this hotel in order to visit the National Museum which is nearby. It is also close to Queen Street station. We enjoyed the overall ambience of the hotel and particularly liked the restaurant and the roof top bar. The staff of the restaurant/bar provided excellent service at dinner and breakfast.
The range of choices available for breakfast was excellent.
Our stay coincided with the heatwave but the room was air conditioned and cool."

"Just had a lovely night, booked 3 signature rooms and all were excellent, meal was in Rafters, we had a Couple of issues but this was dealt with well so all in all would highly recommend"

"We had an early start / check out so we were due to miss breakfast. We were offered a breakfast-to-go prior to our check in and this was remembered without prompting and handed to us at check-in. Uts nice when this happen as promised."

"Beautiful surroundings with an outside terrace overlooking a small lake, quiet. Staff very courteous and helpful.
Grounds could do with a bit of tidying, cigarette stubs everywhere.
Sink in bathroom problematic for shorter people, needed to stretch over the counter to use it, tap also very stiff to use and leaking.
Enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again."
