"I got there at night and parked in the Roman Road car park. There wasn’t much signposting or lighting (or I didn’t see it!) so walking to the hotel felt a little tricky as I ended up walking on the road. Thankfully it wasn’t far. There was a bit of a long queue at check in, but that was understandable as lots of us from the conference were arriving at the same time. "We stayed in the Executive Double which was huge. Tea and coffee making facilities in the main area and shampoo, body wash and towels provided in the large bathroom. The breakfasts were the best we have had in a long time. The only drawback was the very narrow passageway into the car park, but we mastered it after a few attempts."

"I booked a single room which was ok. A little tired but obviously, the main rooms with a view possibly being sorted first. The other rooms left early in the morning and left the doors slam which kept me awake from the early hours. Door fixings need to b more gentle when they close. I did ring down to reception but failed to get an answer as I was having trouble with the tv remote. Unable to get the volume increased. I’m sure, in time, all the rooms will b renovated."
