"It’s hard to comment properly as we arrived late in the dark but even still the staff on the desk were so friendly greeting us, and super helpful and understanding when I realised I’d made a mistake with the booking. It’s lovely and quiet despite being so close to the motorway. Immediately put at ease and reassured that it’s a great place to stay, even if as it is for us just an overnight stopover mid journey. "

"The property was seeped in history. We stayed in room 3, the Kings room. A lovely compact room, spotless with lovely little touches such as a great selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, a fresh little bottle of milk, a comfy bed, feather duvet, black out curtains, great shower and toiletries. "I had a wonderful overnight stay here. The room was lovely, ver quiet with beautiful views and a very comfortable bed. I did use the spa which was at extra cost but it was lovely and relaxing. I opted for the fine dining in the evening and it was outstanding. Breakfast was included and the menu had plenty of options from continental to freshly prepared hot options.The staff were very helpful and friendly- I will certainly rebut for a longer visit. "
