"Did not think this was a 4 star property that I am used to staying. Husband found a cockroach upon entering room. Very small deck, standing room only. Light switches could be turned on, but several of the lights did not work. Staff was pleasant, kept our luggage while we went on tour in the morning. Didnot offer late check out."

"The kitchenette was well equipped. Could have used some dish detergent and some more towels for hand washing dishes. Bed and pillows very comfortable. The sofa bed was uncomfortable. The temperature controls and cooling system worked very well and quietly. Check in and communicate very easy. The room needs more hooks and towel bars. No where to dry out wet bathing suits and beach towels. Room was larger than expected. WiFi excellent. "

"The Upsun hotel was a decent stay, however there could have been a lot more effort put into this hotel to make it enjoyable for guests. A few notable examples would be repairing the showers as they tend to leak and leave a mess on the floor. The fridge was also broken and not cold. The floors were not swapped in the rooms, and the stationary items such as the ice bucket and coffee maker were not cleaned. The phone was broken and there was very minimal WiFi connection.
