We got an email with the checking in instructions, and they put a parking fob in our room so we could use the parking garage across the street (extra charge of $20 per day). Definitely needs better management though it’s not enough for a one person to run the hotel their primary focus is on restaurant not hotel They need more people full time to run this place just for the hotel part NOT restaurant We will had a good time and like I said beautiful property "

"The hotel is stylish and smells incredible. Our room was quiet, dark, and very small, a pleasant contrast to the bright and boisterous surroundings outside. It was workable considering we didn’t spend much time there, with easy access to the beach (chairs provided), bikes one day, shopping, dining, and comfortable lounges on the roof deck."

"The Shepley is a great boutique hotel. The staff are excellent, courteous and always available. The Continental Breakfast offers plenty of varieties. For the early riser, like me, breakfast doesn't open until 7:30 AM. I would have liked to be able to grab at least a coffee a little earlier. They are a block from the beach and provide chairs, umbrellas and towels. We really enjoyed our stay. FYI: To the mobility challenged, access to the 2nd floor is by a steep staircase. "

"The kitchenette was well equipped. Could have used some dish detergent and some more towels for hand washing dishes. Bed and pillows very comfortable. The sofa bed was uncomfortable. The temperature controls and cooling system worked very well and quietly. Check in and communicate very easy. The room needs more hooks and towel bars. No where to dry out wet bathing suits and beach towels. Room was larger than expected. WiFi excellent. "

"This hotel is in a great location. The lounge areas downstairs - both inside and outside - are marvelous. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. The beach was easy to access and we appreciated being able to get complementary beach loungers and towels. The food was also quite tasty at the restaurant. That being said, the rooms ABSOLUTELY need more storage options, especially mounted hooks and shelves inside the shower, in the closets, and anywhere else! We really had nowhere to hang...
